Hanging planters and the measure up?

The total length is personal preference, but we recommend:

-1.8m planters for standard 2.4m (28 course) ceilings in the corner of a room

-2m planters for high ceilings 2.7m (31course) Ceilings in the corner of a room

Smaller planters such as 1.4m look great hung above sideboards amongst other wares.

The total length of the planter is from the very top (at the ring) to the bottom (at the end of the tail). Our pieces are made to fit medium sized pots/vases, such as 22 cm fishbowl vases. The vases will sit approximatley 40-50cm from the end/tail.

Care of my plant hanger and wall hanging?

When watering your plants we recommend using a spray bottle to avoid overwatering and to ensure that water is directed onto the plant and not the rope. Cotton in particular is very sensitive to moisture and may disintegrate if not treated with care at watering. For this reason we also recommend using a planter or vase without drainage holes. Alternatively to avoid water spillage, remove the pot from the hanger for watering.

Can my plant hanger be used outdoors?

We recommend that all hangers except where listed be used indoor only. Some ropes and cords are senstive to moisture and UV.

How do I mount my plant hanger and wall hanging?

To mount your planter to the ceiling be sure to insert a cup hook into the ceiling beam or joist. Do not directly place the hook into the ceiling plaster alone as this is not secure or safe.  A stud finder may assist you in locating the roof beam. If unsure please contact us for more information.

Many of our wall hangings and artworks can be mounted using screws or nails in the wall. Once inserted the screw should not be readily visible once the art is mounted, i.e the fibre art weave should obscure the mounting screw.

For large pieces, two or three screws maybe needed to hold the weight.

Im interested in a piece that is sold. Can I still get this made?

Please contact us info@macandmore.net.au to discuss if this is possible.
